Our name.
Our direction.
Assurance, Review, Technology, Improvement & Education. Five principles that connect the group and give our specialist businesses a shared focus.
in Practice
Assurance
We value clear responsibilities and information that can be examined. Understanding what a service offers, the evidence behind it and the decisions that remain with people is part of building confidence.
Review
Good questions and considered review help people understand what needs attention. Across our different areas of work, we favour approaches that keep context visible and give the responsible person room to apply their judgement.
Technology
Technology should make useful work easier to find, understand and organise. Our interest is in practical tools with a defined purpose, a clear place in the workflow and understandable responsibilities.
Improvement
Improvement begins with understanding a real need. We aim to make the next step clearer, whether that means developing knowledge, finding appropriate people or organising the information around a handover.
Education
Learning has value when people can explore it, apply it and reflect on it. Education is part of our shared purpose, with Medicine in Practice providing a dedicated place for assessed learning and simulated pharmacy work.
